| Award winning Seahorse World at Beauty Point in Northern Tasmania offers fun-filled educational guided tours for all ages. We proudly work with the University of Tasmania's Australian Maritime College (National Centre for Marine Conservation and Resource Sustainability) with research aimed towards the conservation and captive breeding of the Seahorse.
Located in the heart of the Tamar Valley at Beauty Point (just 45 minutes drive north of Launceston) Seahorse World brings to light the fascinating life of the seahorse.
Your personalised, friendly and informative tour will include: A "behind the scenes" look at a working seahorse farm, feeding of the fish (selected tours only), the Cave of the Seahorse - showcasing many different species, Neptune's Nursery - see our newest additions to the farm, our laboratory/research room and the opportunity to get hands-on in the touch pool with our other interesting sea creatures. Seahorse World is fully accessibility for people with special needs and also has a Coffee Shop and an impressive gift shop featuring a larege selection of souvenirs and unique Tasmanian products.
